Love those Pringles!

Lainey LOVES Pringles! We couldn't keep her out of them. We were at Leena's soccer practice and had a picnic. This was taken on 4/13. We spent 3 days with the girls at their house. Loved every minute of it!

Happy Birthday, Papa!

Today is my father-in-law's birthday. He is 92 but sure doesn't look it! I hope I do as well as he does if I reach that age! I love my father-in-law and am very blessed to have someone special like him. My mother-in-law was great also, we miss her a lot. I know Lavelle misses her so much. Thank you Lavelle for accepting me and treating me like your daughter. We love you and hope your day is as wonderful as you are.

It's Here!

Yay! We got our Wii Fit Plus today! I have been wanting this for so long. We finally got the Wii last week but there was no Wii Fit Plus to be found. I finally had to order it online. I exercised tonight for 45 minutes. I love it! I used it at Lacy and Matt's last week when we stayed there for a few days also. I have been battling a few pounds that I gain/lose and am determined to get them off. I then want to keep getting more off. With Weight Watchers and the Wii, I WILL succeed! Keep me in your thoughts please. I am so thankful I have Phillip to support me. He is a great hubby!

February

February is my favorite month. I love Valentine's Day and of course, my birthday. I love all the pink, too. My birthday was great. I received many phone calls, texts, and cards. I ate at La Bonita with Phil, Collin, and Tanner. Of course, they had the waiters sing to me while I wore the sombrero. Darn, I didn't get the pink one! Valentine's was nice and quiet, spent with Phil and the boys. About a week before, I came home from work on a Friday, to greet a fire in the fireplace. Dinner was waiting and a small table set with candles was set before the fire. What a romantic I have!

Bad Blogger

I can't believe I haven't posted since 11/8! The time has flown by so fast. Where did Christmas go? We had a great Christmas. It was strange on Christmas day, however, as the only kid we shared it with was Seth. He couldn't get to his mom's so we all took food over to Grandpa Lavelle's and spent the day with him. We went to Matt and Lacy's over New Year's and stayed a few days. We had a great time. Our Christmas was the Sunday after New Year's Day. We enjoyed the girls opening their presents.

We moved to a new location at work. We chose the worst week to move...last week when the wind chills were 20-30 below zero! Our office is wonderful. We each have our own office and desk now. There are two large conference rooms where we can have socials for our consumers. We now have a reception room when people walk in which is nice. Right now, we are in the process of painting the office some warm taupes and browns with red and black accents.

Lainey is walking now. She is a busy body! Leena loves the scooter we got her for Christmas. She is doing well in school and is reading above her level. I am trying to get her to read the "Little House on the Prairie" series. I just finished the series. I have been reading them since the 3rd grade! I think my favorite is, "The Long Winter". Leena loves to scrap with Grammie so I hope to get her soon and work on pages.

Phillip just turned the big 5-0. He has been swamped lately with fires and car wrecks. We hardly see him.

Mom and Dad are in Texas. We miss them a lot. They were unhappy with the weather they have been having down there...30 degrees. Please! I had no sympathy for them!

We got to spend some extra time with Davin as he was stranded with us a few days. We loved having him. Hope we didn't bore you too much, Davin.

Lacy is busy working part time as a floral designer at Hy-Vee. Matt is always busy with his work as a deputy.

Seth is doing well living with some buddies. Collin and Tanner are busy with school. They are loving the days off though.

Well, today is Seth's birthday. He is 20. His dad can't get over that! We took him out for dinner at Applebee's and had a great time. He is doing great living with the guys! He really is growing up.
