Microburst

We had a microburst this morning at 4 am.  It broke a tree in half, picked it up, and threw it on top of the double wide we rent out.  It rolled our metal shed into a crumpled up ball.  We spent from 6:30am until 12:30 pm cutting and picking up the tree debris.  We also had to pull the shed apart and haul it off.  The tree poked two holes in the ceiling of the living and dining room.  We are just thankful no one was hurt.

Grandbabies are so GREAT!

Future firefighter?  Like Grandpa, like granddaughter?

Isn't this dress and of course the granddaughter beautiful?  Leena acted like Cindrella in this dress store especially when she tried on this dress.  Grammy had to buy it.  We are going to take some more pictures soon.

Lainey loves her Papa.  She looks like she is telling him some big story!

Awww...what a cutie.  For some reason, she loved wearing this hat.  She has Papa's glasses.

Again, with the hat!

We went to a Mustang's ballgame.  Leena had her face painted.  Look at those blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair!  I know, Grandma is proud!

Goofing off with Uncle Collin.  Now look who is wearing that hat!  Lainey has a finger puppet in her mouth that she won at the Abrielle Neff Foundation Children's fair.

At the Mustang's game.  Yes, she wanted to wear the hat there also!  Just look at that face!  Makes a Mimi and Papa melt!

Lainey was given a ball from a team player.  Big sister didn't think that was fair!  Leena wanted to get autographs so I suggested she get some for her sister's ball and some for her own ticket.  She thought that might work.
All in all, this was a great weekend we had with the girls.  They were troopers as we had them on the run the whole time.  Nothing is better than grandkids.

Happy Father's Day!

Phillip and his dad.

We went to the annual Stanberry Car Show.  Took a pic of Tanner and Phillip.  Tanner has just about passed up his dad in height.

Sweet 15!

My baby boy turned 15 yesterday.  I can't believe it!  You think you can't wait for them to grow up sometimes (come on, most of has thought that) then when it is here, you wonder where the time went.  My mom always told me that the older you get, the faster time goes.  I totally believe it.  And I can't figure out how my kids have become older and I stay the same age...29!  (cough)  I have pics of Collin getting his license and will post when I get my new computer.  I haven't been able to post very many pics, as you can tell, because this old computer doesn't have the parts to upload pics with.

Collin was barely 6lbs when he was born.  He barely fit into preemie clothes.  One of his little socks would fit on my finger!  Now he is 5' 9.5" (I have to put the .5" per his request) and weighs over 200#.  He is built like a football player.  He almost didn't make it twice.  Once was while I was 4 months pregnant with him and I had to have my appendix removed.  I had to have emergency surgery.  Thank God that Dr. Wurm knew something wasn't right because I didn't have the classic symptoms.  The other was during birth when we kept losing his heart beat.  I had to be on oxygen and they kept slowing down the process then speeding it up.  I kept begging my dad to go get his calf pullers!  Finally, after 22 hours of labor, the little bugger was born.  After he was born, Dr. Wurm told me no more babies.  No problem!  I had difficulty giving birth to my daughter as well.

So, anyway...happy birthday Bearcat!  We all love you very much.
